Sadgebrush Designs is a luxury design studio committed to sharing your love story through hand painted artwork. Our designs illustrate commitment, passion and grace, values shared in the unity of marriage. We currently offer custom invitations, day of stationery, event signage and calligraphy. We work with a variety of clients and would love to meet with you over coffee or over the phone!

Hi Friends! My passion for painting began in college with oil paints, and has continued to evolve ever since. After attending Savannah College of Art and Design and designing custom stationery for my own wedding, I founded Sadgebrush Designs—a creative studio that merges my love for design and watercolor illustration.

Creating bespoke artwork for couples is truly a dream come true. I specialize in incorporating meaningful, personal details—whether it's a favorite flower or a portrait of a beloved pet—into every design. My illustration style is recognized for its whimsical florals, romantic color palettes, and refined, luxurious details.

For custom invitations, please reach out at least six months prior to the wedding date to ensure enough time for designs, edits and responses.

Fully custom Invitation Suites include Main Invitation, Response Card, Details Card, Outer Envelope, Response Envelope, Printed Addresses, Design & Printing, Postage and Assembly.

  • During our initial consultation, you can expect to discuss what you envision for your wedding stationery. This is where clients can provide inspiration images and/or mood boards to provide a visual of their wedding style. Clients should have chosen a venue before reaching out to design invitations.

  • Once we have reviewed your desired wedding items, a custom quote will be created based on your individual needs. Quotes can take up tp 3-5 days. Please be aware quotes are an estimated cost of items discussed during consultation. if items are upgraded, additional costs may apply. (Quotes are only valid up to 14 days)

  • In order to move forward with booking, a contract and retainer are required to save space on our calendar. All contracts include a custom timeline of when you can expect to see each step of the stationery process including sketches, mock ups and printing deadlines. All stationery items are always approved by clients first before final printing occurs.

Our Process

  • 1. Sketch Proof #1

    Based on our initial consultation and questionnaire, we will sketch out your designs and send over for approval. This sketch will include any venue illustrations, monograms and/or floral designs requested along with a watercolor color palette. Client will be able to make suggestions/edits before any painting begins.

  • 2. Painted Proof #2

    Once Proof #1 has been approved, painting and designs will start to begin. This second proof will be a fully rendered painted version of your invitation suite. Invitation wording and detail information will be included on this proof.

  • 3. Final Proof

    This is the final proof sent out before printing occurs. Small adjustments should be made before final approval. Postage and Envelope colors will be decided if not previously discussed.
